DWD user workshops on "Regional Climate Projections" and "Decadal Climate Predictions"

From 21st to 23rd May 2019, the DWD in Munich is hosting the 5th user workshop on "Regional Climate Projections" and the 4th user workshop on "Decadal Climate Predictions".

The 4th DWD user workshop “Decadal Climate Predictions” will take place from 22nd May 1:00 pm to 23rd May 2019 12:00 noon at the DWD office in Munich.

The aim of the workshop is to present the contents of the BMBF-FONA project MiKlip II. On 22nd May the focus will be on current progress in the field of decadal climate predictions and on development of prediction products. 23rd May will be reserved for an intensive exchange with potential users on future perspectives for the use of prediction products.

In advance, the 5th user workshop „Regional Climate Projections“ will also be held at the DWD office in Munich from 21st May 1:00 pm to 22nd May 2019 12:00 noon.

The aim of the workshop is to establish an open exchange between users of climate projection data and developers of regional climate models based on available and potential future developments (21st May). In addition, the handling with the results will be discussed (22nd May).
